TechCrunch, the popular technology blog, has a radio show on Sirius XM radio dolefully named TechCrunch radio. Once a month the show has a segment "Pitch-off" where they allow 5 start-ups to pitch their business to the two radio host and a special guest. Each company gets 60 seconds to pitch then 2 minutes for Q&A. There's no prize for winning but it's pretty good free publicity.
I participated in the September 2015 Pitch-off where I pitched my app BeerThirty, an app that allows users to see what's on tap at bars in their area. I came in sort of second place, the judges had a hard time understanding the full concept of the app and I didn't have enough time to clear everything up. You can view the full segment on SiriusXM and I was told they'd eventually put it on sound cloud.
