I've been in the web development field since 2007. I am self taught and constantly teaching myself new things. I've been all over the spectrum as far as web developers go. I freelanced for the first 2 years, I've worked for a non-profit, I've worked on a contract basis, I've had a full-time agency job building sites for fortune 100 companies, I've gone the start-up route, you name it, I've tried it. With all these jobs I've taken away some very valuable skills which have made me the developer I am today. When I first started out I learned PHP instead of HTML, my passion was to get into some hardcore programming. That quickly turned out to have a steeper learning curve than I thought, which then transitioned me into front end. I was quickly getting more request for front end than I ever did with PHP.
